How Long is Day Program Treatment?
Is a Day Program Right for You?
Day programming is most beneficial for individuals who have successfully completed detoxification, inpatient rehabilitation, or intensive outpatient treatment, and now seek ongoing support and therapy to maintain their sobriety. Because day treatment is an outpatient program, it’s crucial that the person receiving treatment has a supportive home environment and lives in a drug-free setting. If your home situation is not conducive to maintaining sobriety and supports or encourages substance use, an inpatient program, which provides round-the-clock recovery support, may be a more suitable option for you. A day program is also an excellent choice for those who need intensive treatment and a higher level of care but cannot commit to a residential program. Additionally, individuals with acute substance abuse issues can also consider this outpatient treatment option. Our dedicated team assesses each individual’s unique circumstances to provide guidance on the most appropriate path for their recovery, whether that entails day programs with us or a recommendation for inpatient treatment if necessary. Your well-being and successful recovery are our top priorities.Addiction Treatment Programs at Advanced Addiction Center
Outpatient Treatment
Our outpatient rehab program is perfect for those with a mild addiction case or for someone who is transitioning out of more intensive care, such as residential, IOP, or day programming. Outpatient programs include addiction therapy and treatments several days a week and allow clients to return home after treatment each day.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are a medium between inpatient and outpatient care. IOP has a highly structured plan for individuals but treatments aren’t daily. Typically, an individual will receive treatment for 5-7 days in IOP.
Dual Diagnosis
If you’re struggling with your mental health and substance abuse concurrently, then you may benefit from our dual diagnosis program which treats co-occurring disorders. Since mental illness and addiction can exasperate the other it’s important to treat both conditions at the same time.
